Dr. Vander Wilt
Born and raised in Buffalo Center, Iowa, Dr. Vander Wilt is proud to provide personalized eye care to patients throughout the Des Moines metro. She is passionate about helping patients of all ages achieve and maintain healthy vision through comprehensive eye exams, education, and individualized care.
Dr. Vander Wilt earned her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry before expanding her academic experience through studies in the Netherlands. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry, where she developed a strong clinical foundation in primary eye care, ocular disease, and pediatric eye care.
For more than a decade, Dr. Vander Wilt has cared for patients across the Des Moines area, building lasting relationships through compassionate, attentive care. She believes every patient deserves to feel heard, informed, and confident about their eye health.
When she’s away from the office, Dr. Vander Wilt enjoys quilting, golfing, diamond painting, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
